Anxiously waiting..

We arrived at UC Davis this morning at 6:30 for Gabe's surgery. Everything went very smoothly and the I.V. went in just fine (Gabe's biggest fear). Surgery lasted about 2 hours and the surgeons feel like they were able to obtain a great biopsy sample removed from lung and lymph nodes. Unfortunately, the doctor came out and informed us that the lungs looked very abnormal and he really believes that we are looking at a case of Lymphoma... We are now nervously waiting to see if the biopsy results confirm the doctors opinion.. At this point, we are staying overnight and hoping that we will have some preliminary results tomorrow. He has a drainage tube inserted into the side of his chest that also must look clear before we go. Gabe is remaining very calm and being so strong through all of this. We are so blessed that God gave him such a chill personality, especially in a time like this. Of course we are praying for results to be different, but we are preparing ourselves for a tough diagnosis. Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers for us during this time.. Please keep them coming as we nervously wait.
